Who I am
This website is run by James Dalton, Auckland, New Zealand. I handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What I collect
If you use the contact form or email me, I collect what you send: your name, email address and message. I don't use advertising trackers, and I don't sell or share your details.
How the form is protected
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending it. Turnstile may process technical information such as your IP address and browser details for that check. Messages are delivered to my inbox by an email service (Resend). The site is hosted on Cloudflare.
How I use it
Only to reply to you and, if we work together, to provide that work. I keep enquiries for as long as they're useful for that, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct the personal information I hold about you, or ask me to delete it. Use the contact form to make a request. If you're not happy with how I've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
